Browned butter is always delicious! For this festive recipe, we've drizzled spicy browned butter over oven baked beetroot and topped with roasted almonds. Tasty, quick and easy!

10 beetroots
100 g butter
1 tsp Santa Maria Tellicherry Black Pepper
1 tsp Ground Ginger
1 tsp Cumin
2 tbsp lemon juice
100 ml parsley
0.5 dl chopped almond

How to prepare

  1. Boil the beetroot in salted water until they are soft with a slight core in the middle. Peel and cut them into smaller pieces.
  2. Brown the butter while stirring. Add black pepper, ginger, cumin, lemon juice and finely chopped parsley and remove from the heat.
  3. Put the beetroot in a serving dish and top with the browned butter and coarsely chopped toasted almonds. Serve, for example, as a side dish to a nice piece of fish or your Turkey Christmas Dinner.
