It is our responsibility towards our end users to deliver safe and healthy products to shops. For example, all our production facilities have been certified according to BRC, the global food safety standard.
Efficient use of resources
As regards to our environmental impact, Santa Maria’s overall focus areas are the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, efficient use of resources and minimisation of waste. This can include anything from reducing food waste and energy consumption to finding better methods of transport.
