A lovely vegetarian sandwich where the the smoky mushroom in combination with herbs and feta cheese makes your taste buds tingle. Suitable for both the BBQ buffet as well as for the picnic.

10 stuks champignons
6 el Santa Maria BBQ Grilloil Garlic
2 dl Santa Maria American BBQ Sauce Smokey Hickory
4 stuks brioche-korvbröd

Bereidingswijze

Feta cheese topping

  1. Mince parsley, chives and shallots and crumble the feta cheese. Put everything in a bowl.
  2. Mix in cress, olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, black pepper and roasted onion.

Mushroom Sandwich

  1. Brush the mushrooms with grill oil and grill on high heat until they gets a nice colour. Heat the BBQ sauce in a saucepan in the meantime.
  2. Slice the mushrooms into thin slices and mix with the warm BBQ sauce.
  3. Grill the bread and wide on mayonnaise.
  4. Fill the bread with mushrooms and top with the feta cheese topping.
