This grilled or fried flour tortilla means ”little cheesy thing” in Spanish and hence it is stuffed with cheese, cooked until golden brown, cut into wedges and then served with salsa, sour cream and guacamole on the side. Often topped with diced tomatoes and onions, as well as sliced cabbage, lettuce and jalapeños.
